Due to COVID-19, we are not able to take reservations for our facilities at this time.
The Chalet holds approximately 25 seated guests and 50 standing guests and is available for rent to City of Chardon residents for a $30 fee and nonresidents for a $50 fee. The fee covers 4 hours of use. For each additional hour, the fee is $5 per hour. A $50 refundable deposit is also required (check, cash and credit cards are accepted). Please note, there are no kitchen facilities available. Key to open facility is to be picked up by renter at the Chardon Police Department (111 Water Street) just prior to rental time. A driver's license must be left in exchange for the key
The Chalet is open to the general public from 12 noon to 5 p.m. on weekends during the winter months and when school is not in session and is not available for private party rentals during that time.
The Chalet is not open Christmas Day or New Years Day.
Sled riders are still permitted to sled when the Chalet is not open. *Sled at your own risk.*
The Chalet includes:
- Men & women's restrooms
- Seven (7) six-foot tables & 50 chairs
- Working fireplace
- AC for summer months
For more information on reserving the Chalet and to check availability, contact the office of the City Manager at 440-286-2600. The application, rental fee, and separate security deposit must be received in order to reserve a date for a private party rental.
You must mail or bring the completed application form and payment to the City Manager's office to reserve your requested date.
