The Planning
and Zoning Department is located on the second floor of the Municipal
Center, 111 Water Street, Chardon, Ohio. Office hours are 8:00 A.M.
to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. The phone number is 440.286.2654

Meeting dates
are held on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
The Planning and Zoning
Department was established to provide a central point for coordinating
construction and land development activities within the City of
Chardon. The Department provides support services for the administration
and enforcement of the Municipal Zoning Ordinance and Land Planning
and development regulations. The Department also processes the permits
required by the Municipal Zoning, Land Development, and Streets
and Utilities Regulations. The Department also provides administrative
support to the Municipal Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning
and Building Appeals. Permits applications for construction and
land development activities are available at the Department office.
