The City of Chardon has begun the process of updating its Comprehensive Plan with the assistance of Planning and Development Consultants, D.B. Hartt, Inc. The purpose in updating the Comprehensive Plan is to establish a vision for the City's future.

City Council met with the Planning Commission on January 21, 2008 and reviewed a draft of the Comprehensive Plan. A few modifications are expected to be made to the Plan and will be considered by Council for adoption in March, 2008.

A copy of the draft of the Comprehensive Plan is attached and is also available to be viewed at the City Manager's office during business hours.
