URBAN FORESTER  City of Chardon, Ohio (pop. 5,300).  New Contractual Position.  Salary: OPEN – As needed hourly basis.  Require background in tree risk management / urban forestry.  Must be a certified arborist.  Responsibilities to include: Managing Tree Maintenance, Communicating Urban Forestry to Departments, Personnel and Residents, and overall program administration.  Requests for Proposals with specifications at www.chardon.cc.  RFP and desired fee schedule must be received at the City Manager’s Office, 111 Water Street, Chardon OH 44024 by 5:00 PM March 2, 2012.
